The basics: A social fashion app that allows users to scope out and discover new trends by viewing a scrolling wall of images snapped by other community members. Users’ frequent use of hashtags means you can elect to view a seemingly endless array of items by category or follow certain feeds to keep track of all items tagged with, say, a favorite brand name.
You can think of it like: An app-only, fashion-centric Pinterest wall with the built in follow, like, comment, share capabilities of Instagram, minus the cool filters.
Best for: finding style inspiration through pretty pictures and staying on top of what’s trending both in the U.S. and abroad in fashion, hair, jewelry, accessories and shoes.
Could be improved: While users can input brand and pricing information, many don’t. That means you may fall in love with an item, but end up clueless as to how to find it. You can, of course, leave a comment asking for more information and hope the user who uploaded it responds.
