Exemplifying the idea of digital style is the about-to-drop fall/winter 2012 collection of tech-friendly bags and cases by Hex. Though it won’t become available for purchase until later this summer, there’s eye candy worth viewing in this dreamy little YouTube promo video.
The collection ($49.95 to $99.95) will be the latest installment from the SoCal company, best known for streetwear-influenced backpacks, messenger bags and cases for iPhone, iPad and laptops. Done in grey denim, the offerings for fall include a duffel for 15″ laptops and convertible sleeve backpack for MacBook PRO that features a special, slim-line tablet pocket.
The minimalist, guy-or-girl aesthetic and nice details like weather-resistant fabric and flaps that open for easy access to your tablet make these functional, yet good-looking pieces for daily treks through town, commutes or, as the video above suggests, the next used bookstore-scoping, elevator-riding, LP-hunting, garage band moment.
