So many people are hanging out on Wanelo these days (like more than 10 million when last I checked with the company) that it seemed like a good time to check in with founder Deena Varshavskaya to find out where she likes to hang, you know, during all her downtime from running a super-hot fashion startup. Luckily, the San Francisco Chronicle agreed, hence this recent story.
Actually, though, she told me when I visited the SoMa HQ that she’s a big believer in staying balanced and avoiding the crazed, overworked and unhealthy startup founder stereotype. So who knows, you might just catch up with her at one of her favorite SF spots yet.
In the meantime, you can get a read on her background (and pretty impressive level of persistence – she worked on the site for 2+ years before getting any serious traction) over at the Chronicle.
